HRH Dom Duarte Pio, Head of the Royal House of Portugal receives the book Keōua, Father of Kings by HRH Princess Owana Kaʻōhelelani

H.R.H Princess Owana Kaʻōhelelani with H.R.H. Dom Duarte Pio, Duke of Braganca

H.R.H. Princess Owana Kaʻōhelelani presented Keoua, Father of Kings publication to H.R.H. Dom Duarte Pio, Duke of Braganca at the 7th Cloister of the Monastery of our Lady of Victory of Alcobaca (Historic Headquarters of the Order of Saint Michael of the Wing) on September 29, 2019 this year.

The book was authored in 1920 by H.R.H. Princess Elizabeth Kekaʻaniau Laʻanui who was the Head of the Royal House of Hawaiʻi after the death of our last ruler of Hawaiʻi, Queen Liliʻuokalani in 1917. The book documents the Hawaiian Kingdoms successions and the sole heirs of the royal house of Hawaiʻi.

Princess Owana attended the Annual International Pilgrimage/General Chapter of Knights & Dames of the Dynastic Orders of the Portuguese Royal House held in Portugal from September 27th to the 29th, 2019 at Fátima, Ourém, Vila Viçosa, Alcobaça and Batalha.

The Royal Equestrian and Military Order of Saint Michael of the Wing Investitures at Alcobaca Monastery, the original place  were the order was founded by King Afonso I in the year 1147
