Memorial dedication of His Excellency Dr. Paul Christiaan Klieger in the
Reliquary Museum of the Castle of Ourem in Portugal

His Excellency Chancellor Dr. Paul Christiaan Klieger had passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2019. A memorial dedication of His Excellency was given in the Reliquary Museum of the Castle of Ourem in Portugal and was conducted by Grand Chaplain Rev. D. Carlo Checchin.
Dr. Paul Christiaan Klieger was appointed Chancellor of the Royal House of Hawaiʻi by H.R.H. Princess Owana Kaʻōhelelani in 2016. Paul was a scholar in Hawaiian History, worked as an anthropologist at the Bishop Museum, as the original director for the excavation of Mokuʻula on Maui, he was the author of the book Kamehameha III; He Moʻolelo no ka Moʻi Lokomaikaʻi. His Excellency traveled to Tibet and was an anthropologist specializing in Tibet culture and the author of several books on the history of Tibet including The State of Tibet:

His Excellency David Kealʻimaikaʻi Castro was appointed as the new Chancellor for the Head of the Royal House of Hawaiʻi by Her Royal Highness Princess Owana Kaʻōhelelani in June of 2019.
His Excellency David Kealʻimaikaʻi Castro is a cousin of Her Royal Highness Princess Owana Kaʻōhelelani through his grandmother, Her Royal Highness Princess Virginia Kahelekaʻapuni Castro, a granddaughter of Her Royal Highness Princess Theresa Owana Kaʻōhelelani Laʻanui Wilcox.
